Take a Walk…
This story is meant to encourage you and your family to explore nature. Go to a park, walk by a stream, or find insects on the sidewalk. Identify different trees or birds. There is much to learn by being outside and taking a walk. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Antoine
Matt Ackermann Meet the Author:
Matt Ackermann lives in the Columbia Tusculum neighborhood, in Cincinnati, with his wife Lisa and their 12-year-old yellow Lab, Lizzie. They frequently walk Lizzie on the trails at Ault Park and truly enjoy escaping into nature. These walks are the inspiration for this story.
Frederic Pissarro Meet the Illustrator:
Frederic Bonin-Pissarro was born and raised in Paris, France. He moved to the United States 12 years ago where he is enjoying great success with his paintings, illustrations and design. He currently teaches graphic design and illustration at the Art Institute of Cincinnati. Frederic enjoys working with different styles.

He exhibits and sells oil paintings through Titus Fine Art under the name Frederic Bonin-Pissarro and creates whimsical decorative pieces for Ormin-Design. View a live demo of one of his original oil paintings on YouTube.

About the Production of This Book:
This book was completely produced in the Cincinnati area, made in the USA. I chose to use only local people/companies for illustration, editing, graphic design, printing, and binding. Why? It’s a book about a local park and it supports the local economy. It’s also a “green” book; no shipping overseas, fitting, since the setting deals with nature.
